First Day of Inverness Intercollegiate Cancelled Due to Rain

Due to inclement weather in the Toledo, Ohio area, the first two rounds of the Inverness Intercollegiate scheduled for Monday have been cancelled. The tournament, held at the Inverness Club, will be shortened to 18 holes on Tuesday. Play on Tuesday is set for a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

Hawkeyes Tied for 3rd at Conference Challenge

The University of Iowa men’s golf team is tied for third place after round one at the 15-team Golfweek Conference Challenge. The Hawkeyes posted a team mark of five-under par 283, just four strokes back of current leader Chattanooga (279, -9). Seniors Chris Brant and Brad George are pacing the Hawkeyes after day one totals of two-under par 70. All five of Iowa’s golfers are inside the top-30, individually. Action is being held on the par 72 Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington, Iowa.

Men’s Golf Returns to Action at Inverness Intercollegiate

The Michigan State men’s golf team returns to the course for the first time in two weeks on Monday, when it travels to Toledo, Ohio for the Inverness Intercollegiate. The 54-hole tournament is scheduled for 9 a.m. ET shotgun on both Monday and Tuesday at the Inverness Club (par 71; 7,255 yards). Live Scoring

The University of Iowa men’s golf team hosts the Golfweek Conference Challenge in Burlington, Iowa Sept. 25-27. One round will be played each of the three days at Spirit Hollow Golf Course.
