Indiana Women’s Basketball Takes Part in Hoosiers Outrun Cancer
Members of the Indiana women’s basketball program participated and volunteered at the annual Hoosiers Outrun Cancer event on Saturday, Sept. 24. The walk/run took place in Bloomington with the race beginning at Memorial Stadium and the course stretching through the heart of IU’s campus. The money raised from the event benefits the IU Health Olcott Center for Cancer Education.

2011-12 Indiana Women’s Basketball Season Tickets Now Available
Indiana women’s basketball season tickets for 2011-12 are now available for Hoosier fans. IU will host 13 regular season games at Assembly Hall this season with packages starting at $39 for adults and $26 for youth and seniors.

Head Coach Lisa Bluder has announced that senior Megan Considine has suffered a torn left Achilles and will miss the entire 2011-12 season. The injury occurred during a preseason workout Friday in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Centrese McGee Suffers ACL Tear
Illinois head coach Jolette Law has announced that 5-8 sophomore guard Centrese McGee will miss the 2011-12 season after suffering an ACL tear in her right knee just prior to the start of the school year. The Calumet City native will undergo surgery on Oct. 6.
