Rogers to Miss 2011-12 Season
Head Coach Lisa Bluder has announced that sophomore Jade Rogers will undergo surgery Thursday to repair an injured left knee. Rogers will miss the entire 2011-12 season.

Centrese McGee Suffers ACL Tear
Illinois head coach Jolette Law has announced that 5-8 sophomore guard Centrese McGee will miss the 2011-12 season after suffering an ACL tear in her right knee just prior to the start of the school year. The Calumet City native will undergo surgery on Oct. 6.

Illini Ready for Challenging Schedule
Illinois women’s basketball returns the entire roster from last season and the strength of schedule has taken a step up with the higher expectations of the program. Women’s Basketball Announces 2011-12 Schedule
In conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, the Michigan State women’s basketball program announced its schedule for the 2011-12 season on Wednesday. The Spartans will face 12 schools that appeared in the postseason last year, including six NCAA Tournament teams. At least 10 games will be on national television this season, the second most in the conference, including one on CBS, three on ESPN2 and six on Big Ten Network. 2011-12 Schedule (pdf)

U-M announced its 29-game regular-season schedule for the upcoming campaign and will face 17 teams that competed in the 2011 postseason, including 13 that were among the field of 64 in the NCAA Tournament.

Indiana Women’s Basketball Releases 2011-12 Schedule
The 2011-12 Indiana women’s basketball schedule is highlighted by 15 games at Assembly Hall and five nationally televised games on the Big Ten Network (BTN) with the possibility of three additional games on the BTN. The Hoosiers will face opponents from the ACC, Big 12 and BIG EAST, to go along with the 16-game Big Ten schedule.
Women’s Basketball Schedule Released
The University of Iowa women’s basketball team released its complete schedule for the 2011-12 season today. The schedule includes one exhibition game and 29 regular season contests, with 16 of those games to be played on Mediacom Court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
