Buckeyes Take Down Louisville, 15-11
Brittney Zerhusen and Gabby Capuzzi tallied four goals apiece as the Ohio State women’s lacrosse team rolled over Louisville, 15-11, Sunday afternoon at U of L Lacrosse Stadium in Louisville, Ky. The Buckeyes improve to 6-4 on the season, while the Cardinals absorb just their second loss of the year and fall to 8-2.
Penn State Falls to Florida, 13-7
No. 16 Penn State saw its five-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday afternoon, as it fell to No. 6 Florida, 13-7, in an ALC match-up at Bigler Field.
Wildcats Stage Second-Half Comeback to Remain Unbeaten
Trailing by three goals in the second half and facing a hot goaltender, No. 2 Northwestern was in need of a spark to protect its home field and its undefeated record against third-ranked Duke Saturday in Evanston. Rather than any one individual performance, NU collectively rose to the occasion at both ends of the field, ending the game on a 7-2 run to defeat the Blue Devils, 12-10.
No. 2 Northwestern, No. 3 Duke Do Battle on BTN Saturday
In the first of three consecutive home games, second-ranked Northwestern looks to overcome a team ranked No. 3 in the country for the second time this year when it hosts ACC power Duke at noon Saturday at Lakeside Field.
